Christmas List (Updated)

I made a $100 CAD donation to UNICEF on behalf of Lutz Roeder and Jamie Cansdale to recognize their hard work, show my appreciation for it, and "pay it forward" in some meaningful way. Now their work has helped geeks and disadvantaged children.

I was originally thinking about buying gifts, but $50 CAD wouldn't have bought much after shipping and exchange, and I had logistical concerns about the whole thing. I thought about giving chickens or something else cute from the World Vision Holiday Catalogue, but World Vision is a Christian humanitarian organization, and I don't know how that would fit with either of their beliefs. For all I know, Lutz and Jamie could be vegan athiests who'd find the idea of giving chickens as Christmas gifts in their name offensive. :)
