Moving to Toronto!
Big News! Riona got accepted into Maple Leaf Foods' Management Trainee program! We're moving to Toronto!
Moving to Toronto is a bit scary. TO has 10x the population of Saskatoon, the Greater Toronto Area has 20x, and we don't really know anyone there. The cost of living in the GTA is higher and I don't have a job lined up yet. We're going to Hong Kong for 14-16 days in April, so we'll only have a week to pack and move when we get back, assuming everything goes as planned. Both of our families live in Saskatoon, so we won't have the support and the weekly meals with our families that we have now. We have a huge to-do list, almost none of which we can do yet.
On the other hand, moving to Toronto is also really exciting. We'll get to try TO restaurants like Susur, Lee, Rain, Luce, Bymark, Jamie Kennedy's Wine Bar, etc. (We want our first big meal to be the tasting menu at Susur, which looks absolutely amazing.) We'll get to take in the different ethnic communities (Chinatown, Koreatown, Little Italy, etc), sites, festivals, concerts, etc. We'll be within driving distance of Ottawa, Quebec, some old friends in Michigan, and the rest of the US. Shopping. Several .NET communities. Microsoft presentations. Large companies that use .NET. The opportunity to meet lots of new and interesting people. We're really looking forward to it. :)
I'll try to keep posting regularly, and keep working on things like CopySourceAsHtml, but planning the trip and the move is going to take precedence. I hope you'll stick around until we get settled.
Also, if any of you know anyone in the Greater Toronto Area who'll be looking for a programmer in the near future, I'd appreciate the tip. It'd be nice to find something to keep me busy before I move. :)
Cheers,
a very excited Colin

Daniel: Thanks! :)
Angela: I'll add it to the list. We really want to go to The French Laundry if we're out that way. We've wanted to go ever since we watched the episode of A Cook's Tour where Anthony Bourdain took fellow chefs to The French Laundry and Thomas Keller tried to kill them with a 20 course tasting menu (including a tobacco-coffee custard :). It's supposed to be amazing.

Ahem. Toronto is a 5 hour drive from Detroit.
Just like to point that out.
